Galloway Bull (commission) Educated in Shropshire, Brian Hollingworth he has a great affection for the farm animals that he drew and sketched in his youth. He researches the breed and consults with the client before beginning a commission. |
Gloucester Cow (commission work) Many of the animals Brian has sculpture, have been based upon the actual animals kept by a farmer. The attention to detail and ability to depict the correct anatomy, characterise Brian's work. It is this aspect that give him, as an artist and sculptor, the greatest pleasure. |

| Brian Hollingworth has drawn horses from his youth. He enjoys the movement and individual attitude of different horses. As with all of his work the underlying anatomical structure is important to him. It is this knowledge that gives his sculpture essential life and energy | When Brian relaxes and makes a smaller study he still manages to give each study character of its own. This black pig was made just for the fun of it, yet it is still a well observed small sculpture. |
