A recent commission. The pictures show some of the process used to make a sculpture.

Placed in the kiln. The sculpture is carefully moved to a kiln where it is fired to 1000C.

The sculpture is dried and given a first firing. The clay changes under the intense heat and is now ready for glazing.

Stains and glazes are applied to the walrus form. These are then high fired, on to the sculpture, in the kiln.

   The walrus is finally fired to 1260c

This walrus was then shipped to the U.S.A.
