Listening Hare
The hare is shown at rest but alert. The head is turned and the hare's eyes aware of their surroundings. The position of the back legs are tense indicating their readiness to move at the slightest noise.
. This hare sculpture is high fired in a kiln to 1260c making it into an impervious material known as stoneware This high fired clay material is frost proof and weather proof.
A one-off sculpture of a hare. Each sculpture is made individually from clay - not turned out from a mould.
